When you buy from ChowHoundPetSupplies.com, we will provide a price adjustment to match the everyday online price of competitors on identical items.
Contact Customer Service by chat or telephone and direct us to the ad or website with the lower price. Once validated, we will issue a refund for the difference between our price and the competitor’s. *See guidelines and exclusions for details.
Guidelines
- Price match is available at time of purchase for in-store purchases or within 24 hours for online purchases.
- The item must be in stock and available. It must be the identical brand, size, variety, color or model number.
- The competitive price must be listed and valid at the time of the match. We reserve the right to verify the price and availability, and to decline the price match if the information cannot be validated.
- Acceptable proof of a competitor’s price includes a printed advertisement, mailer, email or digital ad. Please bring the entire printed piece or show the digital communication for in-store adjustments. For an in-store match of a competitor’s online price, the online price plus any associated shipping and handling must be less than our in-store price.
- For online adjustments, you must be able to direct Customer Service to an online ad or website showing the lower price.
Exclusions
- Clearance, closeouts, damaged, used or open-package items. Liquidation or store-closing sales.
- Storewide or category promotions. Bundled offers, such as “free with purchase” or “buy one get one free”. Discounts after rebate or mail-in offers. Flash sales, doorbusters, coupon offers or sales tax promotions.
- Special pricing online that is available only with user log in or after added to the cart.
- Discounts available through a subscription or other purchase commitment.
- Loyalty promotions, special member pricing, member rewards or discounts. Pricing available to warehouse members, government employees or other restricted groups.
- Pricing due to typographical errors.
- “Marketplace” prices from third-party resellers (Amazon Marketplace, Facebook, Craigslist, etc.) or prices on auction-based sites (eBay, etc.).
- Services (grooming, pet wash, training, etc.), gift cards, live animals, feeder animals and commercial purchases.
