Usage
Cestex® should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian as a single oral treatment, unless otherwise directed.

0-10 lbs: 12.5 mg
11-20 lbs: 25 mg
Dogs (at least 7 weeks of age)
0-5 lbs: 12.5 mg
6-10 lbs: 25 mg
11-20 lbs: 50 mg
21-40 lbs: 100 mg
41-50 lbs: 125 mg
51-60 lbs: 150 mg
61-80 lbs: 200 mg
81-90 lbs: 225 mg
91-100 lbs: 250 mg
100+ lbs: 2.5 mg/lb, rounding up to the next whole tablets combination
Missed Doses
Quite often, a single dose of this medication is effective. Measures should be taken to prevent re-infection.
Side Effects
Side effects may include vomiting and diarrhea. Notify your veterinarian if side effects appear and remain troublesome.
Other side effects may occur, if you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
There are no documented drug interactions with this medication. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. 
Cautions
Safety of use in pregnant or breeding animals has not been determined.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Storage
Store at 68°F to 77°F in controlled room temperature, excursions permitted between 59° to 86°F. Protect from light. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
