Usage
Dorzolamide Hydrochloride / Timolol Maleate Ophthalmic Solution should be instilled as directed by your veterinarian. Administer the prescribed dose by pulling down on the bottom lid of your pet’s eye and applying the prescribed number of drop(s) of solution directly onto the eye. Be careful to avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface including the eyes or hands, as this may contaminate the sterile surface. Wash hands before and after application.
If using with other eye drops or ointments: separate dosing by 5 minutes, or as otherwise directed by your veterinarian.
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give two doses at once.
Side Effects
Side effects may include mild burning/stinging/irritation/redness of the eye(s) upon application, slight constriction of the pupil, nausea, or vomiting.
In some cases, other side effects have been observed including local hypersensitivity reactions and corneal edema. Timolol may cause a reduction in heart rate or trigger asthma attacks in some cats with preexisting asthma. Notify your veterinarian if side effects appear and remain troublesome.
Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

Contact your veterinarian if your animal experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
