This amazing fern thrives both epiphytal or terrestrial and can thus be found growing high up in palm trees but also on the rich organic matter of the tropical forest floor. The Bird’s Nest Fern gets its name from the fact that the center of the plant resembles a bird’s nest. The Bird’s Nest Fern creates a 3-dimensional habitat and increases dwelling space significantly.
