Usage
MYOS® Feline Muscle Formula Vet Strength with Green Lipped Mussel should be given as directed by your veterinarian.
Manufacturers Dosing Recommendations
0-5 lbs: 1 scoop (1.1 g) daily
5-10 lbs: 1 scoop (1.1 g) daily
10+ lbs: 2 scoops (2.2 g) daily
If giving more than 1 scoop per day, it is recommended to split the dose evening between morning and evening in the cat's food.
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
There are very few side effects when the drug is given at the usual dose. Side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian
Drug & Food Interactions
There are no documented drug interactions with this medication. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely.
Cautions
For use in cats only.  Keep out of reach of children and pets.  Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven.  If cat's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product and consult your veterinarian. Do not give in pet's with allergy to eggs.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Storage
Store at 59°F to 86°F in controlled room temperature. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
