Usage
Apply Baytril® Otic onto the skin or outer ear canal as directed by you veterinarian. Shake well before use. After applying Baytril® Otic, gently massage the ear to uniformly distribute the medication.
Missed Doses
Apply the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Do not apply two doses at once.
Side Effects
Serious side effects are not expected. Mild side effects such as skin irritation and redness have been reported. If hearing dysfunction is noted during the course of treatment, discontinue use of Baytril® Otic and contact your veterinarian.
Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
There are no documented drug interactions with this medication. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication or supplements you are giving your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely.

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Not for human use. For use in the ears only.
The safe use of Baytril® Otic has not been established in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. The use of Baytril® Otic in dogs with perforated ear drums has not been evaluated.
Baytril® Otic is contraindicated in dogs with suspected or known hypersensitivity to quinolones or sulfonamides. Avoid if your pet is allergic to quinolones or sulfonamides or is known to have central nervous system disorders.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Storage
Store in an upright position at a controlled temperature between 40°F and 77°F. Do not store above 77°F. Keep this medication tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
